River Sessions a daydream expressed through the sounds of the Handpan. Amidst the craziness and uncertainties of the 2020 pandemic and lockdowns, I had an inspiration to create an album that could share the peace and solace of the land at our home. I hauled my studio equipment down to the river, set up some high quality microphones to capture the sounds of nature, and the sounds of my Handpan, and hit record as I played for several hours with the company of the wildlife that surrounds us. The results were then taken back into the studio and the best songs were selected and layered with ambient synthesizers to compliment the peaceful soundscapes. The result is about an hour of relaxing handpan music. Put on some headphones, close your eyes, and gift yourself an hour to drift away.
